Ola electric scooter has unveiled itself on 15th August and since then it has been the headline of many news articles. Since then, it has become a hype between technology enthusiasts. Ola has launched two variants till now named S1 and S1 Pro. Ola has declared that both of these scooters will be available for the customers to buy from today.
Though the bookings for Ola’s first e-scooter have been started in July and since then, it has received positive responses from the audiences. Till now the company has not revealed how many units have been registered so far for this e-scooter.
If you are planning to book or buy an Ola e-scooter, then, there are some facts that you should keep in mind. As Ola has launched two variants of scooters, the price for S1 is ₹99,999 and the S1 Pro will cost ₹1,29,999. These prices are considered after including FAME II subsidy and excluding state subsidies and that means the price will differ on the state you buy the e-scooter in.
The process of buying this e-scooter will be online as Ola does not have dealerships for its electric scooters. To buy a scooter, prospective buyers will have to give a token amount of ₹499 and after that, they can complete the purchase by paying the remaining amount and can choose the colour.
After the confirmation, Ola will show the buyer how many buyers are lined up before them and where they stand on the waiting list. Ola will bring your scooter right to your doorstep.
Ola has also tied up with several banks and financial institutions to provide easy loans to help the buyer. Banks such as Bank of Baroda, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, IDFC First Bank, IndusInd Bank, AU Small Finance Bank, Jana Small Finance Bank, Kotak Mahindra Prime, TATA Capital and YES Bank has tied up with Ola.
Ola will also bring servicing and repair for its scooter right to the buyer’s doorstep.
