Adobe Premiere Pro Is All Set to Capture your Creativity

Adobe markets its Premiere Pro video editing software through its new ad in the “Fantastic Voyage” Campaign. The ad, created by 72andSunny and produced by Reset, is to be aired on many shows including “Jimmy Kimmel Live”.

The entire ad was edited using the Adobe Premiere Pro software with VFX by Alt.VFX. The ad begins as a man seated on the sofa, intending to spend the night at home. But when he opens his closet, a magical portal appears and allows him to travel through different worlds. He visits the rooftop, a fairy tale forest, street life and lit up and more. The ad, with “Don’t Stop me Now” in the background, ends with captions ‘edited by Me’ and ‘Directed by Me’.

The software, with the tagline ‘Creativity for all’, will be promoted on social media also with the hashtag #Edityourstory. The software comes with instructional videos and tutorials that emphasises its features.

Before this, Adobe used the “Fantastic Voyage” Campaign to promote Photoshop. The ad featured a ride on the subway transforming into a magical adventure with the song “She is a Rainbow” in the background.

John Travis, vice president of brand marketing at Adobe said that creativity allows us to transform the world around us. With the pandemic, people are more optimistic and are increasingly using videos to showcase their creativity. Adobe allows people to utilise their creativity and tell their story in whatever way they wish.

Lauren Smith, group creative director, 72andSunny Los Angeles, emphasises the hard work put in by the team to bring out this ad as the members had been at different time zones and locked down like everyone else in the world. The methods used in creating a video of your own have become equally important as its content in the present world. Hence, Adobe Premiere Pro is a highly relevant software.
