Huawei introduced a set of devices that works using its own operating system in the UAE. Huawei is the world’s biggest telecommunications equipment company. Its P and Mate series smartphones are highly successful. But it had to face many challenges recently and to cope with it the company is vigorously promoting its innovations that are mainly based on artificial intelligence and the internet of things.
The ‘Super Device’ is pointed out as the most important innovations this year by Pablo Ning who is the president of the consumer business group, Huawei. The company is trying to enhance the user experience of its customers. The new range of products would provide the users with the ability to navigate through multiple devices without much difficulty.
MatePad Pro challenges the features of Apple iPads and Samsung Galaxy Tabs with a 12.6 inch OLED screen and Kirin 9000E chip from Huawei. It aids multi-screen collaboration and comes with a second-gen M Pencil and smart magnetic keyboard. It is also an entertainment device enabled with eight speakers.
The Watch 3 and 3 Pro comes with a 3D rotating crown and offers a tactile response. It also allows the user to make and receive calls and has a 21 days battery life. Both the devices work in harmony.
Huawei also introduced a wireless stereo Bluetooth headset and the Freebuds 4. It has features like noise cancellation, sound quality with high resolution and a lightweight design.
MateView standalone monitor and the MateView GT were also introduced by Huawei. MateView is a large 4K+ ultra-HD pro-grade standalone monitor with a 28.2-inch panel. MateView GT is designed specifically for gaming.
Huawei has designed its products to enhance the user experience of its customers taking into consideration the unique needs of the consumers in the UAE and other regions. Consumers are looking for a more interconnected experience as most of them are familiar with more than one device according to Keith Li, Huawei CBG’s country manager. To promote their technology Huawei is also collaborating with organisations like Emirates airline, Dubai Taxi Corporation, Dubai’s Roads and transport authority and food delivery services Talabat.
Huawei’s smartphones are ranked third globally including its sub-brand Honor. It remains in the first position in China with a market share of 37%. The brand’s growth had steadily increased during the pandemic having one billion connected devices worldwide and 730 million smartphone users.
