The Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 is expected to be unveiled

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 support page has apparently gone live on the company’s websites in India, Russia, and the Caribbean. It hints that the smartwatch will be available soon. While Samsung has not released any details about the future Galaxy Watch 4, it did tease the next Galaxy Watch during a Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2021 event. Furthermore, claimed renders of the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 have emerged, indicating the device’s design and colour options.

The support page for the SM-R890 model has gone up on Samsung’s websites in India, Russia, and the Caribbean. Nils Ahrensmeier of TechnikNews tweeted in May that the model numbers for the future Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 will be SM-R880 for the 42mm form and SM-R890 for the 44mm variant. While the Indian support page only lists the model number SM-R890, the Caribbean and Russian support pages additionally show the model number SM-R890X, which could refer to a different variant of the smartwatch.

As of now, the firm has only revealed that the new Galaxy Watch would be released soon via a teaser video at its One UI Watch software showcase at MWC 2021. The new operating system, which is based on Google’s Wear OS platform, will be available on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch 4.

The Galaxy Watch 4 was previously rumoured to sport a circular design and a bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) sensor for body composition monitoring. This might be combined with real-time heart rate monitoring and blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) monitoring. The Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 may also be available in 40mm and 44mm sizes, with 5ATM water resistance, MIL-STD 810G toughness, and Gorilla Glass DX+ protection.

Separately, 91Mobiles recently published supposed official renders of the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2. They demonstrate the future Galaxy Buds 2’s design and colour possibilities, which include black, purple, and white. According to the source, there will also be a green colour. In comparison to the previous generation Galaxy Buds, the design of Samsung’s next true wireless stereo (TWS) earphones appears to be different. On the outside, two noise-cancelling microphones can be seen. On the inside of the earphones, charging pins and sensors for wear detection can be seen.

91Mobiles discovered a listing for a Samsung Bluetooth headset with the model number SM-R177 on the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in May, and these are thought to be the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2. The earbuds themselves might have a 60mAh battery and the charging case could have a 500mAh battery. The case is believed to be able to charge at a rate of 2.5 watts.
