The F&V Gourmet Garden Zero-Contamination Brand announced on Thursday its latest INR 25 crore funding round led by Beyond Next Ventures, M Venture Partners and existing Incubate India & Whiteboard Capital investors, among others.
Built in early 2019, Gourmet Garden offers the broadest choice of non-polluting vegetables, fruit, and other important tailored products. Due to their innovative natural farming, certified organic agricultural extensions and lean 1 day and two-touch supply chain, they distinguish themselves on quality and safety.
This money is designed to expand Gourmet Garden’s farming business to zero contamination, to extend its offering to include new categories, to better client experience through the use of end-to-end B2C colD chain technology and to improve order convenience with a new mobile app and website.
In urban India, attention is increasing to economical and excellent quality fruit and vegetables. Gourmet Garden has a complete basket of high-quality products, which are supplied to their devoted customers with a very short period.
The enterprise now covers 60,000 Bengaluru and Chennai consumers alone. More than 75% of items are ordered by repeated consumers every month, which shows the loyalty they produce.
The founders and the team have showed outstanding performance capabilities since our initial investment in the startup several months ago. In spite of a slight COVID-19 epidemic and the lock-up series, the crew was able to work with full force and agility to tackle obstacles. Their passion and belief obviously support this,” said Nao Murakami, Founder of the Incubate Fund India.
We are very pleased about organic growth and love for customers, which has become the cornerstone of the promise of Gourmet Garden. This range has scaled well and will all be the largest newly made clean and contaminated D2C brand in India,” added Anshu Prasher from Whiteboard Capital, the general partner. “We look forward to the adventure ahead with Arjon, Vishal and our co-investors.”
