According to a report published by TVS Motor company, the company has faced sone loss during the second wave of Covid, but the founders have believed that will bounce back to the company. The company is so optimistic because, the company had already succeeded to built up its own supply chain which solved the problem of materials supply. The company has also assured that they are focusing on administrative duties more than ever.
The company has also assured its shareholders that because of social distancing the demand for two-wheeler is growing and the company is ready to take all the opportunities that are offered in this time. According to a report, the company has sold nearly 21.6 lakhs of two-wheeler this year in the domestic market. In 2020 the company has sold 24.1 lakhs of two wheelers.
Another challenge the company had faced is exporting problems. Because of the extended lockdown, the availability of containers was down. Also, because of the sudden increasing demand in the two-wheeler sector has led to a shortage of semiconductors.
