Twitter’s New Feature helps You to Hide Your Profile

Twitter has taken up a few steps to provide its users a more secure use of the app. Twitter has started a facility that those users who are being harassed in this platform; they will be able to hide their profile in order to keep their profile private. They can hide themselves from being searched.

The spokesperson of Twitter has stated more about this new feature. The people who constantly face mean comments in their tweets, can now on choose who can comment on their tweets and who can’t. They can also choose who can sed them direct massages and tag them in some pictures.

Lena Emara, the People Experience Designer of Twitter has said that giving privacy to its users is Twitter’s main motto. But also the users need to understand that privacy is something that can’t be all the same for everybody. Still Twitter is trying to provide comfort to all its users. She said that Twitter is bound to provide the users a healthier platform.

How to hide your profile on Twitter?

Twitter has previously abled the conversation control and discoverability setting for the users and now they have enabled the feature of who can find then using their phone number and email. This new feature will give a notification every time you are searched in Twitter and you can control that if you want to be further searched or not. Also, the users can set a time limit for how long they do not want to be found in Twitter. Another option that is also available to you is that you can hide your account from the harassers.

From now on the users will be able to control if they are receiving to much negative comments in their account and they can also control the time till when they want this feature to be active.
