Apps such as MyGate, NoBrokerHood, SmartGuard, Jio Gate, Apartment Adda and ApnaComplex are getting much importance among housing societies in India. As the housing societies need to maintain a lot of things like ensuring the safety of the residents, managing guest entries, staff attendance monthly collections and maintenance of payment reports.
The Covid-19 pandemic has only added a few more responsibilities such as maintaining social distancing norms, limiting the movement of delivery personnel and sanitization over all these duties. In this situation, these apps are trying to solve the inconveniences that are faced by the residents of these housing complexes. These apartment management apps are also doing very well in their field as MyGate has provided its services to 20,000 communities in March 2021. This app has also made INR 150 crore payments for monthly maintenance.
MyGate managing partner Sanjay Swamy has expressed his excitement about the huge opportunity they have to grow their business and the important role they play in the development of our society. He is optimistic about the fact that in the coming years there will emerge more business leaders who will bring new revolutions in this field.
Before these apps were invented, everything in a housing complex was used to happen in the old way. But MyGate has started making changes in those ways by purchasing home products and services, participating in housing society elections, buying and selling any second-hand items, making private, secure VOIP calls to neighbours and guards.
NoBrokerHood is a visitor, society and payment management app. This app was born from the thought that most residential societies across India are still relying on physical registers to manage everything. This app provides consumers with some features such as ‘Explore’, which allows users to access a range of community-driven services in and around their societies.
