1. Verizon: The Reset -Life isn’t quite as exciting when your wi-fi is slow! When your internet becomes weak, life begins to feel like a lagging video game. This quirky and creative ad from Verizon Gaming reminds you that a speedy and reliable internet connection is what you need to make sure you can avoid all glitches- while gaming and in real life!
2. Guinness: Welcome Back- As the United Kingdom geared up for pubs to reopen indoor service, Guinness and the AMV BBDO agency, used to celebrate and advertise simultaneously. The background track by Elvis Presley- Always on My Mind was a great play on words, and a subtle yet smart score to express what everyone was feeling.
3. Uncoil: You Drive Change A hilarious take on being environment-friendly, this ad tells the story of a man who believes that the methane in his farts is harming the environment and decides to do something about it. She goes out of this way to prevent his “methane emissions” from reaching the atmosphere! Using this concept Uncoil makes their point that helping the environment doesn’t have to be so hard, instead one can just switch to uncoil, the cleanest range of fuel in the Philippines and successfully make a difference.
4. Miller Genuine Draft: The Launch One of the brand ideas that stood out was Miller Genuine Draft deciding to launch their famous seltzer into space. The advertisement not only reaffirms Miller’s status as an original brew brand but also makes a statement.
5. Mountain Dew Rise: The Morning Makes You What would happen if a celebrity like LeBron James would wake up one morning, sapped off all his drive, energy, and quirkiness. You’d witness him doing daily mundane activities just like the rest of us! Communicating with actual people, doing his laundry, mowing the lawn, even teaching a salsa class- uh what? That’s the disappointing vision Mountain Dew paints for us, before bringing us back to reality.
Even a pro-level athlete and entrepreneur, needs an invigorating drink once in a while to add some spice to his life.
